Packing
Packing is the last phase of the packaging. It must therefore guarantee absolute respect for the fruit or vegetable.
Depending on the organisation and the equipment installed on the line, considerable manpower and performance gains can be envisaged at this stage of packaging.

Crate packing
At first sight straightforward, the packing of graded produce in crates remains a complicated operation.
It is necessary, for this phase, to treat on the same line both an overpacking item and a direct packing item for the fruits and vegetables that are to be packaged.
The many different crate formats (dimensions, colours, materials, slots, customer specifics) and constraints (advantageous presentation of the fruits and vegetables, showing the side with the best colour, dealing with the shapes) make this a delicate phase.
