Their response and approach was very proactive and they were clearly eager to find a solution that exceeded our expectations on packing efficiency. Within 3 months they were able to show us their design and within a further 3 months they had a working machine that we could view in their Montauban factory.
The delivery of the first machine was in May 2019, we worked closely with MAF to ensure that the solution was capable of achieving the volume and accuracy that we needed - Indeed initial observations showed it could work at a speed 10 – 12% quicker than we originally specified. We are now in November and the second FAST PACK head has been delivered and commissioned.
The line works very well and has allowed us to increase our throughput, give our customers better presentation of their product and reduce our labour costs by almost 60%. The FAST PACK has exceeded our expectations and MAF has proved itself as an excellent supply partner.»
