CENTRAL FRUIT PACKERS
Australia
Central Fruit Packers, one of the top packers of export and domestic mandarin in Australia, has recently installed an 8-lane INTEGRA sizer with our latest electronic technologies.
Thanks to the new sizer, GLOBALSCAN 7 and VIOTEC, combined with skilful management, they have saved 10 people on the sorting tables and another 10 people on the packing tables. In addition, the final quality of their packed citrus is constantly improving as they optimise their new grading line. It is a continuous partnership between MAF OCEANIA and CFP, a second 8-lane INTEGRA sizer will be installed in 2020.
« In February 2019 management at CFP teamed up with MAF to install a new 8-lane INTEGRA SIZER & GLOBALSCAN 7, with the purpose of increasing volume and reliability without jeopardising quality. A huge task was to integrate our current infeed and outfeed, with the MAF team overcoming every challenge. For us at CFP the new line has represented massive improvements in production and quality control. With future stages of upgrades needed we are proud to continue our partnership with MAF, and have a new infeed 8 lane INTEGRA SIZER and GLOBALSCAN planned to be installed by March 2020 in time for next season. The service and commitment to achieve our goals throughout the 2019 citrus season by MAF technicians was fantastic. »
